TACO TUESDAY!!

Hello,

This past Tuesday we had tacos for lunch and I just wanted to share how I make them because some people might feel like it is a difficult thing or it takes too much time, etc. Well, not my tacos!  I only take about 30minuts at the most to make them for the whole family.  I do not buy the taco shells that are already prepared; I just use regular tortillas so here is what you will need:
Oh! PS. These are not low-fat, light, or whatever you want to call it.

  1. 1 rotisserie chicken (or boil some chicken with some spices for about 45mins-1 hr.)
  2. 1Pack of tortillas
  3. Oil
  4. Cheese
  5. Guacamole
  6. Tomato
  7. Lettuce
  8. Hot sauce
  9. Sour cream
  10. Red onion

And whatever else you would like to put on your taco…

Here is what I do, I go to the store and purchase a rotisserie chicken from the deli (or boil some chicken with some of your favorite spices). What you do first is get the chicken and start shredding it, when you are done with that get a pan and add oil to it and let it warm up on medium heat, while you are waiting on the oil to get hot, warm up some tortillas on a skillet or pan for about 30 seconds on each side (this is so they don’t break).

You then get a warm tortilla and add some chicken and fold it, now this is important… Be very careful when you put it in the hot oil because the tortilla can unfold and open up letting some chicken out so make sure they stay put.

Let each side get nice and crispy, take them out of the oil and put them on a plate or baking sheet with some napkins. Finally, once you have made all the tacos for your family let them sit for a minute while you chop some lettuce, onion and tomato.

Bring everything to the table and start building your taco!

ENJOY!
