Fun Workout

During the holiday season I sure have gain more weight than I have wanted. Now, I’m trying to work out and get my body back into shape. The thing about working out (for me at least) is that it becomes so boring and I just get tired of doing the same thing over and over again.  Another thing is that, I am a student and have bills to pay which makes me not want to get a gym membership I do not really need when I can just workout outside for free!

My friend recommended to download a very cool application called Zombies, Run! (for iPhone and Android). This app is so fun; it is a running game that has an audio adventure for you to listen through our phone. While you are running or walking, you need to collect supplies and outrun zombie mobs while you head back to base (point from where you started running). When you are done, the supplies you have collected can be given to the hospital, armory, and other places located in the camp base to make it bigger.

This app is so much fun and has made me want to run. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to have fun while working out. Let me know what you think and what do you do to have a fun workout?

PINNED

Every time I see some designer come out with new accessories I go and check online to see how much they are. I have seen models, actresses and singers use this very cute colorful pins on their hair making it look perfect and glamorous at the same time. Before this trend started, the “rule” used to be that the bobby pins had to match the color of the hair (at least for me though). Now I think I can break that rule and start using bright bobby pins (since my hair is so dark) for spring and winter, the brighter the better!
The thing is, designer bobby pins cost so much, some can cost up to $15 for a pin set and the ones I have seen in the store look more like little girl pins and did not like the colors. I decided to create my own and share them with you, hopefully you enjoy this and will make you want to try it.

Holiday Nails

Hey Everyone,

I have been feeling the holiday spirit and for the first time, I have decorated my house with Christmas items that I have been purchasing for the past month or so. I think it looks very nice and it just makes the house feel more cozy and bright. Because of all the decoration, I decided to decorate my nails as well. I must warn you that I am no professional and therefore some of them might look a little strange or might not make sense.  The nail color’s I used were red, silver, white, green, gold and black. I also used the tip of a pen to help me create dots and keep the color from mixing in with another one. You want to start by applying a base to protect your nail, followed by applying a white or red color on the nail and then start to decorate your nail to whatever you want. Let me know what you think and which one is your favorite. By the way... if you see some dark spots that look like I might have a bruise or two on my finger or hand, do not worry its just purple nail polish.
